Beaten for phone
A group of ruffians attacked a teen and stole his phone as he was walking along Gravesend Neck Road on Nov. 28, police said.
The 19-year-old told police he was walking near E. 17th Street while on his phone at about 3:30 pm when the thugs approached him and started beating him up. The villains grabbed his pricey iPhone and then fled towards a Q train at the Gravesend Neck Road station, investigators said.
Threat and take
A hooligan threatened a teen at gunpoint and stole his phone and sneakers on Avenue Y on Nov. 29, officials said. The good-for-nothing followed the 13-year-old to a spot near E. 26th Street at about 9:15 pm and said, “Get up against the car, don’t try to run or scream or I’ll shoot you,” and then brandished his gun, according to authorities. The snake grabbed the teen’s expensive iPhone and adidas Alpha Bounce sneakers, then fled toward Avenue X, cops said.
Mobile crooks
A pair of nogoodniks stole a guy’s phone on Stuart Street on Dec. 1, police said. The victim told police he had just parked his car near Avenue U a little after midnight when the two rogues wearing black jeans, black sweatshirts, and black ski masks came up to him still sitting inside and opened the front and back doors and said, “You need to give me something,” according to authorities. The baddies had their hands in their jackets and then one reached over the front seat to grab an iPhone from a holder, officials said. The nogoodniks fled in a white Chevy sports utility vehicle, according to authorities.
In-school beatdown
Cops cuffed three teens for punching another kid in the face and then stealing his money inside his Avenue X school, officials said. The 17-year-old was walking down the hallway inside the school near Coyle Street at about 10:45 am when one of the suspects came up to him and asked for money, police said. But when the victim told him he didn’t have any, the suspect punched him in the face and threw him to the ground while another reached into his pants pocket and grabbed $10 in cash, according to authorities. A third suspect stood guard, officials said.
Bye-cycle
A swindler stole a bike from an E. 15th Street restaurant on Dec. 2, police said. The fraudster said he was a delivery man and when he got inside the eatery near Avenue U at about 5:50 pm he pushed a victim to the floor and then ran off with a $900 motorized bike, officials said.
