Two brutes jumped into a man and woman’s car on Emmons Avenue on Jan. 16, threatened them with a gun, and swiped their expensive jewelry, police said.
The 33-year-old woman was sitting in the driver’s seat of the car waiting outside of a deli near E. 16th Street at about 6 am while the guy went inside to shop, but when he came out and got into the car, a malefactor came up to the driver’s-side window and a second shoved the guy into the car, officials said.
The two crooks threatened them with a gun and swiped their Rolex watch, Cartier bracelet, and a necklace, according to authorities. The punks fled in a black BMW on Emmons Avenue and then towards E. 16th Street, police said.
Tool thief
A baddie swiped a bunch of tools from a guy’s Avenue T house under construction sometime overnight on Jan. 15, police said.
The guy told police his house near E. Ninth Street is undergoing renovations and no one is currently living in it. The sneak opened the front door sometime between 11:30 pm on Jan. 15 and 7:30 am the next day, and left with a hammer drill, ridgid drill, impact gun, band saw, and sawzall worth about $450, according to authorities.
Four against one
Four villains attacked a teen on his way to the bus stop after school on E. 27th Street on Jan. 18, police said.
The 15-year-old victim was walking to the bus stop near Quentin Road at about 2:40 pm when a light-blue vehicle came to a stop right next to him and four miscreants jumped out and demanded he hand over his cellphone.
But the teen refused and one of the jerks socked him on his mouth, causing a deep cut that needed stitches, officials said. The rogues fled in the vehicle, according to authorities.
