Fire ravages Marine Park home

Firefighters are investigating a raging blaze that ate its way through the top floor of a Marine Park home last week. FDNY officials said that the all hands fire erupted inside the home on Avenue P near Kimball Street last Wednesday evening at around 7 p.m. The fire had gutted most of the top floor before firefighters rendered it under control, witnesses said. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire, which was initially considered suspicious, had not been released as this paper went to press.Photo by Paul Martinka
