Nasty women

If you feel like our democracy is hanging by a thread, join the opening reception of “Nasty Stitches,” a group exhibit of embroidery and fabric art with a political message from four female artists, with pieces that deal with sexual and reproductive health, including the pictured message from Katrina Majkut. The show will be on display until July 23.

Pop-up show

It’s your last chance to say you’ve seen Iggy’s weiner! Today is the final day of the “Iggy Pop Life Class” exhibit, featuring drawings of the naked punk rock star by a dozen artists, alongside a collection that explores the male nude throughout art history, focusing on how images of masculinity have changed over the years.

Get Iggy with it: This sketch by Angel Ramirez is part of the Iggy Pop Life Class exhibit at Brooklyn Museum, which closes on June 18.
