Big-hearted gastronomes pleased their palates on the sentiment during a benefit food showcase in DUMBO for the American Cancer Society, attended by celebrity chef Daisy Martinez and top sommelier Darrin Sie.
Local dining establishments offered the best of their menus at the Tobacco Warehouse, 26 New Dock Street, tempting visitors with select tastings, washed down by wines and spirits from area vintners and liquor companies.
The evening also featured an auction with items ranging from gif certificates and furniture to a cruise around Manhattan and personal trainings sessions.
Among the participating restaurants were: Chestnut, Five Front, Henry’s End, Erica’s Rugelach and Wine Cellar Sorbet.
