The Bard of Bushwick, Frank Hoier, was so angry about our recent story about how cops removed an artist’s work in DUMBO that he wrote a song about it for his bi-weekly “Rhythm and News” feature.
Hoier has not only become a regular folk balladeer in our Downtown office. He also performs every other Wednesday at Jalopy in the Columbia Street Waterfront District and every other Thursday at Northeast Kingdom in Bushwick.
Catch him this Sunday, May 24, at the Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition art show on the pier at the foot of Van Brunt Street in Red Hook at 3 pm.
