The Cobble Hill Association is sponsoring a free Book Swap, October 17from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Long Island College Hospital Sitting Park,corner of Henry and Pacific streets in the Cobble Hill section of Brooklyn.
Bring a book and get a book. Staff members from LICH will also be on hand to meet the community, as LICH is sponsoring free blood pressure screening and will have an asthma information table at the park.
Books will also be available for sale at $1 or less. All proceeds and remainder books will be donated to the hospital, 339 Hicks Street, by the Cobble Hill Association.
In the event of inclement weather, the book swap will be held at the same time and place,October 24.
