Friends of Firefighters marks 20 years of service at 2022 gala

For more than two decades, Brooklyn-based organization Friends of Firefighters has worked to provide free mental health and wellness services to the Fire Department of New York community, and on Thursday, Nov. 17, the group got together with friends, family and even a few local celebrities to host a grand 20-year anniversary gala.

The event took place at Roulette in Downtown Brooklyn and was hosted by Shelli Sonstein of Q104.3 radio station.

In a post on social media, organizers thanked those who came out to the 2022 gala for their continued support of Friends of Firefighters’ mission.

“An enormous thank you to everyone who came out to our gala last night to support the work we do,” a post on Instagram read. “It was a tremendous success. Thank you as well to all of our honorees and our tirelessly working staff.”
