Assemblyman Steven Cymbrowitz is encouraging everyone to sign up for a new, free program that will keep New Yorkers informed of urgent and emergency conditions that could effect them.

The NY-Alert reports may be customized to include only desired areas of the state and also limited to selected levels of severity.Signing up is simple. Either go to www.nyalert.gov or call 1-888-697-6972. New Yorkers may choose which devices they receive their information on.
