Two goons raided a Rockaway Parkway Getty gas station of $600 on May 23 — but couldn’t get away with any fuel.
A station attendant told police that the thieves rolled up in a white car at 11:30 pm, pulled a gun, and demanded money from the till.
The goons then tried to work the pump without paying, but couldn’t get a drop of gas, the employee told police.
Cops are asking anyone with information regarding this hold up to come forward.

Home invasion
Four armed thieves jumped an E. 81st Street resident as he neared his home on May 19.
The victim was just about to step inside his home, which is between Flatlands Avenue and Avenue J, at 7:55 pm when the goons grabbed him from behind and forced him to unlock the door.
The goons pistol-whipped their victim before running off with the man’s cash and jewelry.
Investigators caught up with two of the thieves a few days later, charging them with robbery and burglary.
Phone thieves busted
Two 20-year-old men were arrested on May 23 after they tried to jack another man’s phone during a confrontation on Rockaway Parkway.
The victim was near Conklin Avenue at 4:45 pm when the duo approached, demanding to see the man’s cellphone.
When the victim refused, one of the suspects jammed his hand in his pocket as if he had a gun — but the man still refused to hand over his prize possession.
The thieves ran off empty-handed, only to be arrested a short time later.
Basement raid
A 47-year-old copper wire thief broke into a basement apartment on E. 86th Street on May 23 — but ended up getting arrested.
Residents of the home, which is near Flatlands Avenue, told police that they noticed the basement door opened and damaged at about 6 am.
They also found the thief, who was doing a poor job at looking inconspicuous.
“I’m just taking this stuff,” the thief said as he tried to take the wires — against the homeowners protests.
Restaurant raid
Two gunman held up workers at an Avenue N restaurant on May 17, taking $380.
The thieves barreled inside at 10:20 pm, ordering everyone to get down on the floor.
After emptying the register, the thieves demanded to know where the safe was, but fled after taking a plastic container holding more money.
Cleaned out
Thieves broke into a Ralph Avenue laundromat on May 18, taking $150.
Workers at the laundry, which is near Avenue N, crept through a rooftop vent sometime after 11:30 pm in order to get inside, workers told police.
Tropical takeaway
Two thieves raided a fruit and vegetable wholesaler inside the Brooklyn Terminal Market on May 15, taking an assortment of cash and jewelry.
The crooks entered Global Tropical, which is near the corner of Foster and Remsen avenues, at 9 pm, overpowering a worker. After binding the woman with duct tape, they ransacked a back office, taking whatever they found.
Magic bullets
A crew of thugs pummeled and then tried to shoot a Canarsie man on May 6 — but couldn’t hit the victim because of lousy aim.
Police found the Canarsie resident at his home, which is on E. 79th Street near Glenwood Road, bleeding, but his injuries could have been much worse.
Witnesses told investigators that the victim was sitting on a car parked on E. 79th Street near Glenwood Road at 6:45 pm when the three punks approached and began arguing with him.
After a few heated words, the trio pulled the victim off the car and began beating him, leaving him with a deep cut under one eye.
Then, as the victim lay on the ground, one of the suspects pulled a gun and opened fire — but missed.
Cops found the shell casings, but the victim told police that he didn’t remember the violent exchange.
