A goon threatened a guy and forced him to withdraw money from the automated teller machine on Atlantic Avenue on Jan. 31.
The worm approached the victim near Third Avenue at 5:45 pm, asking for money and making small talk. When the victim told him he didn’t have any money to give to him, the rogue stated, “I have a 45 and I want to kill a bunch of people and myself.”
The guy told police he attempted to shuffle away, but he was unsuccessful, noticing that the aggressor had made a suggestive movement by putting his hand to the side of his waistline, threatening he had the gun.
The crook then ordered the cash-less victim to walk to an automated teller machine with him, and he withdrew $100, throwing it at the criminal and running out of the store, according to a police report.
Cash bash
A brute attacked a guy after he refused to give him more money on Fourth Avenue on Jan. 26.
The victim said the ruffian approached him, asking for money, near Pacific Street at 2:50 am. When he handed over some cash, the lout demanded more and decked the victim in the face when he refused, police said.
The miscreant tried to steal the victim’s bicycle, but was unsuccessful and fled on foot, said cops. The victim followed him, calling 911 along the way, but this only angered the knave more, and he rounded back on the victim for a second time, delivering another blow to the face and stealing his cellphone and wallet, according to a report.
Phonies
A couple of nogoodniks snatched a man’s cellphone at gunpoint as he was at a Smith Street subway station on Jan. 26.
The victim told police he was in the station near Bergen Street at 11:50 pm when two guys came up behind him and said, “Give me your phone.”
The goons started punching him in the face and body, causing his right eye to swell. One of the punks took his phone and pointed a gun at him, but then ran off on foot out of the station, police reported.
Missed connection
A swift thief lifted a woman’s bag from her arm as she was waiting for the train in the Atlantic Avenue subway station on Jan. 26.
The woman told police she was in the station near Pacific Street at 6 pm when a quick crook grabbed her purse from her arm and fled.
Bad chat
A chatty criminal took a woman’s wallet from her bag as she tried to start a conversation with her at a Lawrence Street restaurant on Jan. 28.
The victim said she was having dinner near Willoughby Street at 5:52 pm when a strange woman sat next to her and started a conversation. The tight-lipped victim said she tried to ignore her and shifted her position, leaving her property unattended for 30 seconds to a minute at a time. When she turned away, the sneak reached into the woman’s bag and removed her wallet, leaving shortly after with a guy, a report said.
