The new decade arrived with a bang in Brooklyn.
Thrill seekers converged at Prospect Park to welcome 2010 with a dazzling display of fireworks, cavorting beneath Grand Army Plaza and other prime viewing spots to bask in the glow.
The pyrotechnic spectacle drenched the night sky in a cavalcade of colors, emanating “ooohs” and “ahhhs” from the jubilant crowd as the 10-minute shimmer-fest ushered in a brand new year.
