The Guild for Exceptional Children celebrated its 50th anniversary of providing comprehensive services, and programs for more than 1,000 children and adults with developmental disabilities, and their families.
The festivities were observed during the Annual Joint Meeting of the agency’s officers, board of directors, advisory board members and administrators.
The Guild, located at 260 68th Street in Bay Ridge, was founded in 1958 by a group of Bay Ridge parents seeking a more fulfilling life for their children with special needs.
