A gun-toting goon robbed a 27-year-old woman at the corner of Clinton and Luquer streets on June 13, taking her cellphone, sweater and shoes!
The victim was nearing the corner at 12:45 am when the thug, who was sporting a red hoodie, flashed his weapon and demanded everything she had.
Rolling iPhone
Three hooligans stole a man’s cherished iPhone in a rolling robbery at the corner of Luquer and Hicks streets on June 7.
The thugs approached the victim at 6:45 pm, got out of the car, and threatened to shoot him if he didn’t hand over his pricey smartphone, witnesses told police.
Verde vanish
A thief swiped a purse inside Verde restaurant on Smith Street on June 11 — and hit the mother lode.
The 35-year-old victim was enjoying herself inside the bar near Butler Street at 12:15 am when she left her purse — containing $5,000 in jewelry and $900 — on a chair she went to the bathroom. When she returned a few moments later, her bag was gone.
Parking perp
A crook looted a 2004 Mercedes Benz left in a private parking lot on Centre Street on June 6, running off with a wallet filled with credit cards.
Workers at the lot near Clinton Street said someone rifled through the car sometime after 8 am.
IKEA grab
A thief snagged a woman’s purse on June 5 as she shopped at the Red Hook IKEA.
The victim left her purse in her shopping cart in the Beard Street big box store at 7:57 pm. She returned a minute later, but the bag — as well as $60, her camera and two credit cards — were missing.
Jean jack
Three thieves tried to make off with 14 pairs of designer jeans inside the Barney’s Coop on Atlantic Avenue on June 7 — but never made it out the door.
Workers at the department store near Court Street told police that the thieves stuffed the clothes into a bag at 4:55 pm and headed for the door, but were nabbed before they could make their escape.
Bike snag
A thief broke into a Douglass Street home on June 8, taking a child’s bicycle.
The owner of the home between Court and Smith streets said that the thief shattered a glass front door sometime before 6:15 am, taking the $300 two-wheeler.
Builder bilk
A thief broke into a Coffey Street home under construction on June 9, swiping an assortment of pricey tools.
Workers said someone forced open a window to the home, located between Ferris and Conover streets, sometime after 5 pm.
