Gun play on Manhattan

Gun jerk

Police are looking for the idiot who shot a 19-year-old man at random on Manhattan Avenue on July 18.

Details are few, but the victim — who wasn’t mortally wounded — was near Nassau Avenue at about 1:50 am when the shooter approached and shot him with a handgun.

iPad theft!

A burglar stole two laptops and an iPad from a Union Avenue apartment on July 13.

The victim told cops that he went home, which is between Withers and Jackson streets, at about 9 pm to find his front door wide open. Inside, he noticed that the expensive gear and some cash were missing.

Digital dupe

A brute with a crowbar broke into the Dijital Fix electronics store on Bedford Avenue and stole cash and equipment on July 14.

An employee said that he left the store, which is near N. Fifth Street, at about midnight. When he returned six hours later, the front door was pried open and headphones, hard drives, watches and $950 were gone.

Electro-thief

Perps stole electronics from a shop on Manhattan Avenue on July 14.

Employees caught the perps on camera prying into the shop, which is between Milton and Noble streets, through the roll-down door at about 3:30 am. The thugs took a voice recorder, a Bose home theater system, an iPod and cameras before they fled.

Screwed

A screwdriver-wielding biker threatened and held up a woman on Wythe Avenue on July 15.

The woman told cops that she was near N. Eighth Street at about 2:30 am when the perp rolled up on a bike, held his tool in her face and said, “Give me that [purse].”

She handed it over, along with $40 and credit cards, before he fled.

L-train snatch

A quick-handed crook stole a woman’s Blackberry as she waited on the Metropolitan Avenue L train platform on July 15.

The girl told cops that the jerk ran by and grabbed the phone out of her hand as she waited on the platform, which is near Lorimer Street, at about 8:40 am. She tried to chase him, but there were too many people in the way to navigate the subway. Go figure.
