Me and my girlfriend
A dangerous duo robbed a couple on Greene Avenue on Nov. 23.
The victims told cops they were between St. James Place and Washington Avenue on their way home when two men started following them.
The duo approached and one of them pulled out a black gun, demanding the victims’ wallets and rings.
A two-dollar baller
Police arrested a 17-year-old who they say fleeced a man for his pocket change on Carlton Avenue on Nov. 20.
The 14-year-old victim told cops he was at Myrtle Avenue at 4 pm when the suspect approached him and told him to, “Run his pockets.”
The kid gave him $2, and cops said they arrested the suspect three days later.
Sous-thief
Police arrested a former restaurant worker who they say broke into his old business on Lafayette Avenue and stole some fancy cooking equipment sometime between Nov. 4 and 19.
Representatives from the restaurant told police the man broke into the joint between Ashland Place and St. Felix Street sometime between 5 pm on Nov. 4 and 11:59 pm on Nov. 19, walking away with a fancy “sous-vide” immersion cooker.
Cops arrested a suspect on Nov. 21.
Robbery
A bandit broke into a Clinton Avenue residence on Nov. 23.
The 47-year-old victim told cops that the crook entered the apartment at DeKalb Avenue after midnight, stealing $300 worth of stuff.
Cadillac slippin’
Someone stole some tires and rims from a Cadillac on Park Avenue sometime overnight on Nov. 20.
The victim told cops he left his vehicle between Cumberland and N. Oxford streets at 11 pm, returning at 10:50 am the next day to find his tires and rims gone.
Air-flight
A crook lifted a fancy laptop from an office on Flushing Avenue sometime overnight on Nov. 20.
The 39-year-old victim said she left her MacBook Air in her office between Cumberland and N. Oxford streets at 7:30 pm, returning at 10 am the next day to find it gone.
Bag step
A crooked hustler picked a woman’s wallet on Lafayette Avenue on Nov. 21.
The 36-year-old victim said she was near Flatbush Avenue at 1 pm when she noticed that a thief had taken her wallet from her bag.
Trucked away
A cool criminal stole a truck from Park Avenue on Nov. 17.
Representatives from Budget Rental Cars told cops that a customer returned a truck to the location between Hall and Ryerson streets at 11:50 pm, but that a crook pilfered the keys from the drop box and drove off in it 10 minutes later.
Laundering the laundry
A thief took a wallet and some washing detergent at a laundromat on Putnam Avenue on Nov. 25.
The 32-year-old victim told cops she was doing her laundry at the joint between Cambridge and St. James places at 5:30 pm, and noticed her wallet, new iPhone, and washing detergent gone a half hour later.
