Gunman robs Neptune Avenue bodega

Bodega bandit

A man robbed a Neptune Avenue bodega at gunpoint on Nov. 26.

The victim told police that the brigand came into the store near W. 36th Street at 5:35 pm brandishing a black hand gun and demanded money from the employee.

He took $1,700 and fled towards W. 35th Street, according to police.

Homophobic harasser

A lowlife punched a teen in the face and made homophobic remarks at him on the subway at Brighton Beach Avenue on Nov. 26.

The 14-year-old victim told cops that he got on the Q train headed near Brighton Sixth Street at 3 pm with two friends when the lout started harassing him, calling him a “faggot,” according to cops.

He then tried to take the teen’s phone and when he resisted, punched the victim in the face and told him to “go home to your husband,” according to the authorities.

When the train pulled into Brighton Beach station, the homophobic bruiser disembarked and left the scene, cops said.

Emergency room punch

Cops cuffed a man who they say assaulted a cop in a hospital on Ocean Parkway on Nov. 26.

The officer said he was removing the visitor from the Emergency Room waiting area at the medical center near Shore Parkway at 12:39 am for allegedly being in a combative state when the man punched the cop in the mouth, causing him to bleed and seek medical attention, according to authorities.

Hog raider

A freebooter stole parts from a woman’s motorcycle parked on Neptune Avenue on Nov. 28.

The victim returned to her ride near W. 29th Street at 7:30 pm and found that someone had taken her air and fuel ration sensor, her catalytic converter, and other motorcycle accessories, according to cops.

Snooze thief

Police arrested a man for allegedly stealing from a teen while he napped at the Surf Avenue N train station on Nov. 30.

A witness told police that they saw the suspect taking the phone from the front pants pocket of the victim, who was sleeping, at the station near Stillwell Avenue at 4:40 am.

The suspect was later arrested and police recovered the phone from his jacket pocket, according to the authorities.
