Gun-toting miscreants robbed a man while he was walking his dog on W. 29th Street on April 3.
The victim told police he was taking his pooch for a stroll near Surf Avenue at 11:30 pm when a man wearing a bright silver vest, a red sweatshirt, and blue jeans asked him for directions.
Another man wearing a black sweatshirt with dark-colored pants then pushed a gun against the victim’s stomach, cops said. The men then took an iPhone 5, a hat, and cash off the man, before fleeing towards W. 28th Street, according to authorities.
Hit and rob
A good-for-nothing hit and robbed a man on Bath Avenue on April 4.
The victim said he was walking near Bay 46th Street at 5:30 am when a man walked up to him and tried to get his phone. The victim tried to fight him off, and the thief hit him in the head with a hard object, causing a cut above his right eye, police reported. The man then took the victim’s wallet, according to the report.
Foot to the face
A goon attacked and robbed a man on Bay 53rd Street on April 5.
The victim said he was near Cropsey Avenue at 8 pm when a man pushed him to the ground and kicked him in the face. He then took his iPhone 6 and cash before fleeing towards Bay 44th Street, police said.
Rocked
A jerk hit a man with a rock following an argument on W. 29th Street on April 1.
The victim told officers he was arguing with an acquaintance over a commission for a vehicle sale near Mermaid Avenue at 7:20 pm. The man then punched the victim in the face, knocking him to the ground, cops said.
When the victim got up to try and defend himself, the man hit him in the forehead with a rock and then fled on Mermaid Avenue towards W. 30th Street, police reported.
Police said they did not find the man, but that the victim identified him.
Parking lot mischief
A bandit stole cash and and a phone from a man’s car parked on Cropsey Avenue on April 3.
The victim said he left his vehicle in a diner parking lot near the Belt Parkway at 2:45 pm. Police say camera footage shows a driver enter the lot and park their vehicle next to the victim. The driver then came out of their vehicle, went into the victim’s car, and took an HTC cellphone and $1,500, police said.
