Gunplay at party

94th Precinct

Greenpoint–Williamsburg

Party foul

A 17-year-old gunman was arrested on March 13 after he shot and injured two party-goers on Jackson Street.

The first victim said that he was in a room with 20 people at a party — between Kingsland and Debevoise avenues — at about 11 pm when the thug randomly pulled out a handgun from across the room and started firing at him. The victim was hit in the upper thigh.

The second man told police that he tried to grab the gun, but the jerk turned to him and fired another shot, hitting him in the abdomen.

That’s when the gunman fled, only to be arrested later. The wounded were taken to the hospital and treated for their injuries.

Car scheme

A handful of villains succeeded in an elaborate plan to steal cars from a Vandervoort Avenue auto body shop on March 9.

Investigators found that four perps first cut the wires on a security camera at Magnum Repair and Body Shop, which is between Maspeth Avenue and Withers Street, before they broke the front door down at about 1 am.

They rummaged through the place and found keys before they took three brand new BMWs and fled.

Smoker’s hack

A tobacco fiend broke into the J&M Deli on Graham Avenue and stole cigarettes and phone cards on March 9.

Workers arrived to the shop at Richardson Street to find the front-window glass broken and the stuff missing.
