Subway bandit

A thief nabbed a man’s phone and cash aboard a 4-train out of the Borough Hall Station on Aug. 28.

The victim told police he was sitting on the Flatbush-bound train when the crook boarded at the station near Court Street and snatched the phone out of his hand at 8 a.m.

The freebooter pretended to have a weapon in his pocket and shouted, “Give me everything,” so the victim took out his wallet and gave the thief a $50 bill, before the bandit took off at the next station, according to police.

Slap in the face!

Cops arrested a man for allegedly robbing a teen on St. Marks Place on Aug. 26.

The victim, 14, told cops the reprobate walked up to him, slapped him in the face, and told him to take off his shoes near Fourth Avenue at 9:10 p.m.

The boy handed over both his sneakers and a pair of flip flops, and the scalawag fled on foot, according to the authorities.

Police cuffed the 21-year-old bandit later that day, slapping him with felony robbery charges, according to the authorities.

Underground fight

Some thugs beat and robbed a man at the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center station on Aug. 28.

The victim told police he was waiting for the Manhattan-bound D-train when three or four brutes beat him up, while one of them took his wallet, before fleeing the scene at 4:30 a.m.

Cold case

Cops arrested a man they suspect of robbing ice cream from a Bond Street bodega on Sept. 1.

The victim told cops the suspect grabbed a tub of Häagen-Dazs from the store near State Street at 9:50 p.m., when he gave chase, only for the suspect to pull what appeared to be a gun from his waistband, leading him to give up the pursuit.

Police caught up with the suspect at Warren and Nevins streets about 20 minutes later, and arrested him on felony robbery charges, according to the authorities.

What a jerk!

A thief snatched an elderly woman’s purse on Livingston Street on Aug. 31.

The 80-year-old victim told police the scoundrel grabbed her bag at Clinton Street and escaped toward Court Street at 10:45 p.m.

The scoundrel then used the woman’s credit card at a Brooklyn market, according to police.

Quick swipe

Cops arrested a man they suspect of stealing clothes from a Fulton Street department store on Aug. 30.

A witness told police the 61-year-old man took several sweaters and tops, and walked out the store between Gallatin Place and Hoyt Street without paying at 9:20 p.m.

Cops caught up with the suspect and arrested him on felony Grand Larceny charges, according to the authorities.
