Children enrolled in the Neighborhood Improvement Association (NIA) summer camp program took to the stage last week during a special summertime sendoff.
With just two weeks to go before the beginning of school, students put on a show-stopping performance filled with singing, dancing, athletics, and a run-down of two months of cherished memories.
Those who enjoyed the show included parents, State Senator Marty Golden and NIA members and camp counselors.
NIA’s special summer was held in IS 187, 1171 65th Street.
