Nearly one third of all Brooklynites are paying more than half their income on rent, according to a report released last week.
The study, by Rep. Anthony Weiner, the chair of a bipartisan congressional caucus on the middle class, found that 29.97 percent of Brooklyn resident spent half their income on rent in 2006, up from 25.50 in 1999.
