Art attack
A graffiti artist left his mark on Williamsburg wall — and on a North Brooklynite’s head — when a neighborhood do-gooder tried to prevent the vandal from scrawling his tag on March 16.
The victim attempted to stop the perp from painting at the corner Berry and North 10th streets at around 12:30 am, so the graffiti writer slugged the victim in the head with a can of spray paint, leaving the Good Samaritan with a laceration across his forehead.
The suspect fled onto Berry Street, cops said.
Paper hate
A student at a Bedford Avenue high school proved true the adage that the “pen is mightier than the sword” when he stabbed a classmate in the head with one of the ink-filled writing utensils on March 18.
Cops locked up a 17-year-old suspected of jabbing a victim in the head with a disposable pen at around 10:50 am at Automotive HS, which is between North 12th and Lorimer streets. The attack left the 17-year-old with two lacerations that required treatment at Woodhull Hospital, police said.
Baseball fury
A baseball bat-toting thug attacked a 28-year-old on March 12, bludgeoning him on North Ninth Street.
The slugger struck the victim in the arm at around 3 am, then fled from the block between Driggs Avenue and Roebling Street. The bat used in the attack has not been recovered, cops said.
Road rage
A mean motorist blocked another driver from leaving a parking spot on March 22, then slugged him in the face with a blunt object.
The dastardly driver kept the 26-year-old victim from pulling out of the spot at the corner of Meeker and Union avenues at around 11:30 am. With the victim trapped, the crook approached the victim’s driver’s side window and struck him in the bottom lip.
The attack — which police said stemmed from “girl issues” — left the victim bloody and bruised.
MacTook
Thieves looted a Havemeyer Street apartment and made off with a 35-year-old’s Apple laptop and video camera on March 14.
The crook got into the apartment at around 5 pm and grabbed the victim’s electronics before fleeing from the residence, which is between North Seventh and North Eighth streets.
Caught in the act
Police locked up a would-be car thief after he broke into three Greenpoint vehicles on March 22.
The hapless crook had already attempted to heist two cars from the corner of Morgan Avenue and Division Place — breaking the steering column in one vehicle and damaging its ignition switch — when a responding officer spotted the crook climbing into a third vehicle at around 2:50 pm.
The officer apprehended the crook before he could make off with the car.
