Brooklyn’s most famous Santa Claus, Carmine Santa Maria, will make his first stop of the holiday season at 11 a.m., December 6 in Bensonhurst’s Historic New Utrecht Reform Church Parish House, 18th Avenue and 84th Street.
This will be the 10th annual “Breakfast with Santa fundraiser for Cub Scout Pack 20 and Boy Scout Troop 20’s at the Historic Church. Scout Troop 20 is the oldest active Boy Scout Troop in America and is celebrating its 98th anniversary.
Sitting on his Christmas throne, an authentic 18th century bishop’s chair, alongside a traditional 19-foot Christmas tree, Santa Maria will pose with each child, giving each a Christmas present and souvenir photo.
Admission per child is $15 (includes picture on Santa’s lap) and per adult is $10 (no photo).
There is a 140 seat capacity, and tickets can be purchased at the Parish House on Friday evenings.
