That was the question many had recently when hundreds of Mayor Michael Bloomberg campaign placards were found strewn about Coney Island Avenue.
The placards, which read “Pakistanis for Bloomberg,” were left all over the place — in the streets, on lampposts, in piles of trash — following a cultural festival on the heavily traveled Midwood span.
The discarded placards irked many, including Doris Ortiz (pictured), the District Leader of Community Board 14.
After complaints were filed, a crew came to pick up the signs.
The crew, however, were wearing blue NYC shirts, according to one onlooker.
