Reaching-Out Community Services, a volunteer outreach agency, which provides food subsidies and other programs for families and individuals who face hardship, is collecting unwrapped toys for 500 underprivileged children from low-income families now until December 18.
You can purchase and bring in any toys, or send donations to Reaching Out Community Services Inc., 7708 New Utrecht Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11214.
You may also drop the toys off at 7708 New Utrecht Avenue Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Thursday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Please, no toy guns or weapons.
The children will receive the toys “from Santa Claus,” December 20 from 12-3 p.m. at 7712 New Utrecht Avenue.
