Masquerade

Two gun-toting scoundrels barged into a Lorimer Street apartment wearing ski masks on April 8 and tied up the occupants and stole their property, cops said.

The victims said they were at their home between Stagg and Scholes streets at 10 pm when there was a knock on the door. A woman answered and two terrifying goons kicked their way in wearing black masks and holding black firearms.

The predatory pair tied up the victims with red zip ties and covered their heads with towels, police reported. They then stole a laptop, wedding band, necklace, $2,000 in cash, a cellphone, sneakers, and earrings, according to a report.

Moving pains

A quick bandit made a guy’s move 10 times worse when he stole stuff out of the back of a rented U-Haul truck on Scholes Street on April 12, while the poor sap was running furniture up to his new apartment, cops said.

The 25-year-old victim stated he was moving into the digs between Manhattan and Graham avenues at 2 pm when he went upstairs and he came back to discover his Apple MacBook, Kenneth Cole briefcase, Apple wireless keyboard, Apple wireless mouse, and hard drive all missing.

Unfortunate

Cops cuffed a trio of men who they say tried to rob a Chinese restaurant on Humboldt Street on April 8.

The husband-and-wife owners of the eatery between Seigel and Moore streeets told police that the threesome entered the store at 8:55 pm. One of the men climbed over the counter and stuck his body through the bulletproof service glass, according to police.

“Give me the money,” the guy allegedly demanded.

The woman screamed and her husband came running out from the back in time to see the three running away, cops said. Police arrested three suspects later and charged them all with attempted robbery.

Young guns

A crew of teenagers shot at another teen as he was riding by in a taxi on Flushing Avenue on April 5, according to the authorities.

The 16-year-old victim said he was a passenger in a cab driving past the public housing building between Humboldt Street and Bushwick Avenue at 10 pm when he saw a group of youngsters he knew. The kids saw him and surrounded the taxi, cops said.

The hack drove off quickly and the ruffians chased after the cab, officers reported. One of the teens pulled a handgun and started firing at the buggy, but neither the passenger nor the driver were injured, and the taxi was not damaged, according to a report.

Jacket jackers

A pair of robbers attacked a man on Morton Street on April 8 in a bid to steal his jacket, police said.

The 23-year-old victim told police he was walking between Bedford Avenue and Clymer Street at 11:10 pm when a jerk ran up and punched him in the head several times and tried to pull off his outerwear.

Another punk ran up and joined in the punching, a report says. The victim refused to give up his jacket and the would-be thieves eventually ran off, officials stated.

Car raid

A burglar broke into a woman’s car parked on Cook Street on April 12 and pillaged her belongings, cops reported

The 18-year-old victim said she parked her car between Bogart and White streets at 2 am and, when she returned at 6:50 am, she found the left, passenger-side window shattered and a rock on the driver’s seat.

The glove box was broken open and $200 was missing, and a laptop and backpack were missing from the trunk, according to the authorities. The police later recovered the book bag in front of a house down the street, officers said.

Bag ladies

Four fiends attacked a pedestrian and tried to steal her purse as she was walking over the Williamsburg Bridge on April 6, cops said.

The 25-year-old victim told police that she was on the span close to the northeast corner of S. Fifth Street and Kent Avenue at 7:15 pm on when the fearsome female foursome came up to her and tried to pry her bag away from her. The lady ran towards Manhattan and escaped, police said.
