Police are looking for two men who siphoned nearly $12,000 from a man’s bank account and blew the money on shopping sprees around the city last week.
Authorities say the suspects gained access to the victim’s account and withdrew $6,500 at three banks throughout Brooklyn on April 13. Cops say the men then went shopping, purchasing a $5,000 gift card at an electronics store and spending $263.73 at a department store in Manhattan on April 15. The duo spent a total of $11,763.73, according to police.
Police said the suspects are in their late 30s or 40s.
