A crook robbed a woman of her iPhone on Avenue U on April 11.

The victim told police that she was near Flatbush Avenue at 8:15 pm when the crook approached her. “Give me that s—,” the crook snarled, before snatching the phone from her hand.

Inept thieves

Two armed thieves attempted to rob a man on E. 57th Street on April 12, but ended up fleeing empty-handed.

The victim told police that he was between Foster Avenue and Farragut Road at 6:18 pm when the two crooks approached. One tried to restrain the victim, while the other pulled out a firearm. Fortunately, the victim managed to free himself and made off without losing any property.

Key master

A thug beat a woman insider her Kimball Street home on April 8, slashing her with his keys.

The victim told police that she was insider her house between Avenues S and T at 11:12 pm when the intruder assaulted her with his keys, striking her on the face and hands.

Gatekeeper

A crook broke into an E. 52nd Street home on April 5, but only took the lock on the front door.

The owner of the home between Avenues H and I told cops the crook entered the house sometime after 8:30 pm, but only took the lock before fleeing.

Social insecurity

A thief ransacked an E. 35th Street home on April 9, taking cash and personal documents.

The victim told police the crook entered the home between Avenues J and K through a second-floor bedroom window sometime after midnight, taking $448, along with the victim’s Social Security card and driver’s license, cops said.

Senior swindler

A crook robbed an Avenue P home of $2,000 and jewelry on April 9.

The 91-year-old resident told cops the thief broke into the house between Ryder and Kimball streets through the front door sometime after 1 pm.

Personal perp

A thief broke into an E. 49th Street home on April 10.

The victim told police the thug snuck into the house between Avenues H and I through an unlocked sliding-glass door sometime after 2 pm, and took off with personal papers.

Stranger encounter

A would-be thief attempted to rob an E. 35th Street home on April 12, but fled empty-handed after the homeowner heard him.

The 36-year-old victim told police that he was on the second floor of the house between Avenue M and Flatlands Avenue at 4:40 am, when he heard a noise coming from downstairs. He went to investigate and found a strange man there, who quickly fled through a side window.

Stripped

A thief stripped a 71-year-old man’s car parked on Royce Street on April 10.

The victim told police that he parked his 2011 Nissan Maxima between Avenues U and T at 6 pm, and returned later to find his car sitting on cinder blocks without tires or rims.
