Today is Memorial Day. Please take a moment to remember the men and women who died in the armed services.

Residents throughout the borough will be attending Brooklyn’s Memorial Day Parade — a 145-year-old march honoring fallen American soldiers.

Check out Brooklyn Daily tomorrow for a full run down of the parade and how Brooklynites celebrated Memorial Day weekend.

The 145th Annual Kings County Memorial Day Parade will kick off outside of Councilman Vincent Gentile’s district office [8703 Third Ave. between 87th and 88th streets in Bay Ridge, (917) 873-1508; www.brooklynmemorialdayparade.com] on May 28 at 11 am.
