Bad bunkmate
A creep stole a wallet, iPhone, and iPad from a hospitalized man at New York Methodist Hospital on Sixth Street on May 3.
The 51-year-old victim told cops he was in his room — which he was sharing with another man — at the medical center at noon when he fell asleep. He woke up four hours later and discovered photos from his wallet scattered across his roommate’s bed — and the shady bunk buddy gone. He then discovered his credit cards, cellphone, and tablet were missing.
Block heads
A professional crook snatched some fancy car parts from a vehicle parked on 14th Street on May 2.
The 40-year-old victim told cops he parked his orange 2012 Honda Fit near Seventh Avenue at 9 am, then came back the next day at 8 am. He discovered his pumpkin-colored ride had been propped up on cement blocks — and his tires, rims, and spoiler stripped.
Hard day
A thief swiped an iPod from a shopper on Second Avenue on May 5.
The 35-year-old victim told cops she was at Lowe’s Home Improvement near 11th Street at 1:55 pm when she set her tote bag in a shopping cart, then walked away for five minutes. When she returned, her bag — including with her iPod and wallet — was gone.
White rabbit
A punk broke into a car parked on Sterling Place on April 28 — and left with some clothes and an iPad.
The 29-year-old victim told cops she parked her white 2009 Volkswagen Rabbit near Seventh Avenue at 11 pm, then came back next day at 7:30 am. That’s when she discovered her rear passenger-side window broken and her device, $300 shoes, and makeup were gone.
Club and all
Someone jacked a Toyota parked on Prospect Park West on May 1.
The 48-year-old victim told cops she parked her black 2010 Toyota 4Runner near Second Street at 7:30 pm, locked her steering wheel with “The Club,” and went home. She came back the next day at noon and found her trusty ride gone — with no sign of broken glass.
