This year, with the help of Health Plus, Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, Forest City Ratner and Toys ‘R’ Us, the holiday season kicked off on a cheerful note as State Senator Parker hosted his sixth toy give-away party. More than 600 toys were donated to underprivileged children, just in time for Christmas.
Approximately 30 community based organizations and churches attended and collected toys for the exuberant children of East Flatbush, who each lined up to select a toy, and then had their photo taken with Santa Claus.
Additionally, guests were treated to holiday fare including eggnog, donuts, and cookies.
