Kings Highway bank gets robbed — again!

Cops arrested a man who tried to rob a Kings Highway Apple Bank on Wednesday morning — the fourth bank heist on the popular commercial strip in less than a week.

Police say the suspect entered the bank between avenues J and K at 10 am and passed the teller a threatening note, but got spooked and ran out of the bank empty handed.

The alleged robber ran down Kings Highway, but responding officers grabbed him at E. Ninth Street and Avenue P while searching the area, cops said.

The Apple Bank was also robbed on June 1 — one of three Kings Highway financial institutions raided within a half hour.

Police said the suspect waltzed into the bank shortly after 2 pm on Friday and also passed a teller a threatening note, but this time made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. That robber then went on to hit two more banks along Kings Highway in a crime spree that lasted less than an hour.

A police source said it was unclear if the suspect arrested Wednesday was responsible for Friday’s bank robbery spree.
