Sneak attack

A dastardly duo flashed a knife at a man on Bay 26th Street on April 12, and stole his wallet.

The victim told police he was between 86th Street and Benson Avenue just after 1 am when the pair appeared from behind and told him in Spanish to give them his money. One thief then stole the man’s wallet, and both fled on bikes towards 86th Street, according to authorities.

Window shopping

A crook broke into the W. Ninth Street home of a woman who has an order of protection against him on April 10.

The perp broke into the home at Avenue S around 4:10 am, when he climbed up the fire escape and entered through the kitchen window before fleeing on foot, police reported.

Didn’t get far

Police arrested two men who they say attacked a man in a Shore Parkway building on April 12 and stole $500 and his cellphone.

The victim was near 20th Lane just before 9:30 pm when the two men followed him into the building, pushed him to the ground, and repeatedly punched his head while telling him to give them all of his money, police reported.

They then fled on Shore Parkway towards 21st Avenue, and were arrested soon after, officers said.

For the taking

A good-for-nothing broke into an 84th Street residence on April 12 or 13 and took off in the homeowner’s car, police said.

The crook entered the residence between 15th and 16th avenues at some point between 10 am on April 12 and 10 pm the following day, stole the car keys, and speed off in the car, according to the police report.

Pedal to the metal

An enraged driver struck another motorist with a metal object on the left side of his face and left arm on 67th Street on April 13.

The victim was at a stop in his car near 21st Avenue just before 9 pm when the brute got out of his own vehicle and attacked the man, police said. The lout then fled in a gray Infiniti, authorities reported.

Fled fast

Someone smashed the window of a woman’s car parked on 68th Street on April 13 and stole her purse with her credit and debit cards inside.

The car was parked between 21st Avenue and Bay Parkway, and the theft occurred around 6 pm, according to the report.

Gone in a flash

A bandit drove off with a 2016 Volkswagen from Cropsey Avenue on April 15.

The car was parked at Bay 41st Street, and the driver reported the car missing around 1:30 pm, according to the report.

Phoned it in

Police arrested a man who they say assaulted another man, threatened his life, and stole his cellphone on McDonald Avenue on April 15.

The victim told police he was between Billings and Colin places around 4:45 am when the man approached and punched him in the forehead and on his back, which caused him to fall to the ground.

The suspect then threatened to kill the man if he did not hand over his money, took his phone, and fled, cops said. Officers arrested him later, and found him with marijuana, according to authorities.
