Knife-wielding thief attempts to rob Sheepshead Bay gas station: NYPD

Police are searching for the knife-wielding wacko, who attempted to hold up a Sheepshead Bay gas station on Aug. 16.

The thief pulled a knife and demanded cash from a clerk at the convenience store near Nostrand Avenue and Avenue T at 5 a.m., but the employee refused to hand over the dough, and the crook fled northbound on Nostrand Avenue, according to police.

Anyone who provides police with information leading to an arrest can expect up to a $2,500 reward through the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers program.
