Knocked out for purse

A woman was choked to the brink of unconsciousness as she exited a neighborhood train station this month.

The victim, a college student, exited the Morgan Street L train station at 8 p.m. on December 6 when the thief caught her scent, according to published reports.

The thief reportedly grabbed her on McKibben Street near Bogart Street, put his arm around her neck and choked her until she passed out.

She woke up unharmed, but her purse was gone, cops were told.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to come forward.
