The annual summer concerts series, in parks throughout from Bay Ridge to Marine Park, continues with the performances sponsored by State Senator Martin J. Golden, the Bay Ridge-Bensonhurst Parks Task Force and CERT1NYC.
The concert schedule includes:
• August 5: The Remnants (oldies) as part of the 68th Precinct Police Night Out at 79th Street & Shore Road
• August 5: DJ Vinny with a face painter for the kids at the 62nd Precinct Police Night Out outside the Bath Avenue stationhouse.
• August 6: Carl Thomas and an Elvis impersonator at Marine Park (Fillmore Avenue)
• August 12: Bronx Wanderers with a tribute to Dion and other oldies acts at 79th Street & Shore Road
• August 13: Caribbean Splash (a summer dance party band) at Marine Park (Fillmore Avenue)
• August 15: NY Exceptions (with oldies from the ’50s-’60s) at the Parkville complex (65th Street between Eighth & Ninth avenues)
• August 18: Head over Heels (a Bay Ridge party band) at 83rd Street & Shore Road
• August 19: Yesterday and Today (a Beatles tribute band) at Dyker Park (86th Street & 14 Avenue)
• August 20 is Family Day with a DJ, face painting, rides, games and prizes at Marine Park (Fillmore Avenue)
• August 26 is Family Day with a DJ, face painting, rides, games and prizes at McKinley Park (75th Street & Fort Hamilton Parkway)
