It was probably the cleanest picnic on record.
New York’s Strongest gathered together in Floyd Bennett Field off Flatbush Avenue recently for a special end-of-summer blast.
Dozens of families participated in the Department of Sanitation’s annual picnic, which included heaps of food as well as rides, games and arts and crafts for the kiddies.
The only ones left frowning were all the field’s ants, who were hoping for a discarded feast, but ended up going hungry.
After all, the Department of Sanitation knows a thing or two about cleaning up after themselves.
