Lightning strikes on Knapp St.

Firefighters were called to Knapp Street near Voorhies Avenue Sunday night after a lightning strike set a power line on fire. Witnesses said that amidst the heavy rain and thunder claps, lightning reportedly hit a power line that fell to the ground and caught fire. Responding firefighters put the small blaze out without incident. No injuries were reported, nor did any homes lose power, according to officials.
