Gravesend

Oh, the places you’ll go!

The Cat in the Hat jumped off the pages, Sam I am ate green eggs and ham, and Horton heard a Who at the Family Literacy Night on April 19 at PS 212, Lady Deborah Moody School in Gravesend.

Children, all cozy and comfy in their pjs, and their parents were treated to an evening of stories, crafts, learning, and fun. Students sat in rapt attention as their teachers spun the animated tales by the Dr. Seuss and celebrated their love of reading. After story time children made cool crafts and enjoyed hands-on activities.

Principal Rina Horne and Assistant Principal Helen Stern supervised the event.
