A scoundrel broke into a guy’s Washington Avenue apartment on Dec. 12 and stole his cash and electronics, police said.

The 28-year-old victim told police he left his apartment near Dekalb Avenue at about 2:30 pm and when he got back at about 7 pm saw his Apple monitor display was gone, along with its keyboard and a wad of cash, according to authorities.

Jewel thief

A nogoodnik broke into a woman’s Clermont Avenue apartment and swiped her jewelry on Dec. 12, police said.

The knave got into her apartment through the front door between Greene Avenue and Fulton Street sometime between 7:15 am and 7:50 pm and ran out with diamond earrings, pearl earrings, a pearl necklace, watch, and bracelet, officials said.

Bay play

A punk swiped a guy’s playstation from his Downing Street apartment on Dec. 14, police said.

The good-for-nothing broke into the 27-year-old’s apartment near Gates Avenue sometime between 11:15 am and 7:15 pm and stole his PlayStation 4, according to authorities.

Stoop scofflaw

A baddie swiped a bunch of delivered packages and others waiting to be picked up outside a woman’s Washington Avenue apartment sometime overnight on Dec. 12, police said.

The victim told police she had left out some boxes for pick up alongside others that had just been delivered to her stoop near Gates Avenue at about 9:30 am, and when she walked outside the next morning, saw they were all gone, according to authorities.

Dude, where’s my car?

A marauder drove off with a guy’s car he had parked near S. Oxford Street sometime between Dec. 11 and Dec. 14, police said.

The 43-year-old victim left his 2009 Toyota Corolla near Dekalb Avenue at about 8:30 pm on Dec. 11, and when he went to get it three days later, it was gone, officials said.

Purse snatcher

Some sneak swiped a woman’s purse inside a Waverly Avenue building on Dec. 15, officials said.

The thief took the woman’s bag containing $450, her Social Security card, other personal identification cards, and a credit card while she was inside the commercial building between Atlantic Avenue and Fulton Street sometime between 1 and 3 pm, according to authorities. The woman told police she wanted to go back and check the building’s cameras.
