Police on Saturday arrested a man after he jumped out a window while being questioned about a robbery inside the 60th Precinct station house in Coney Island on Jan. 3.
The soaring suspect leaped from a second-floor window inside the W. Eighth Street building around 4 pm after asking to use the bathroom, according to a Police Department spokesman, who could not say whether he jumped from a bathroom window or another on the floor.
Following the recent arrest, authorities slapped the suspect with charges including assault, escape, and robbery, officials said.
The spokesman could not immediately provide information about the incident officers wanted to question the man about, but said cops previously cuffed the Coney Island resident multiple times for crimes including robbery and assault, which he described as violent.
