Milkmen
A group of toughs bashed a woman in the head with a milk crate on Walton Street on Oct. 25, according to police.
The 29-year-old victim said that she was on a bench in a playground at Harrison Avenue at 4 pm when a lout came out of nowhere and hit her with the container.
She looked around and saw five goons running on Walton Street, a report states. None of them said anything, and she had no idea who did it, cops said.
Purse attackers
A pair of robbers jumped a woman and tried to rob her of her purse on Wallabout Street on Oct. 25, cops said.
The 22-year-old victim told police she was between Throop Avenue and Broadway at 6:50 pm when two villains grabbed her from behind.
“Shut up,” one hissed as he grabbed her handbag, according to a report.
The other threw her to the ground, causing her to bump her head on the ground and scrape her right knee, police said.
The fiends got away with her purse, which contained her phone, keys, MetroCard, license, and identification, according to the authorities.
Welcome to Bushwick
A gang of five attacked a man on Harrison Place early on the morning of Oct. 18, NYPD officials reported.
The 20-year-old victim said he was walking home from his friend’s house at 12:01 am and was at Knickerbocker Avenue when the no-goodniks surrounded him and one announced he was a local.
“I am from Bushwick,” the ignoramus supposedly said.
The whole crew then laid set upon the victim with feet and fists, according to cops. The victim suffered a broken eye socket and a cut to his right eye, a police report states.
Bumpy landing
Police arrested a guy who they say jumped a turnstile, then threw a cop down a flight of stairs at the Lorimer Street subway station on Oct. 22.
Cops said the officer saw the 21-year-old hop the turnstile at the J and M station at 12:05 pm.
When the officer confronted the man and identified himself, the suspect struggled with the cop, then pushed him down the steps, according to a report.
The officer suffered injuries to his ankle, knee, and hand, the authorities said. The suspect was charged with assault.
Inspect your gadget
A robber snatched a guy’s laptop bag from him and then punched him in the face when he tried to get it back at the Morgan Avenue station on Oct. 23, law enforcement officials recounted.
The 22-year-old victim said he was on the stairs at the station at the corner of Harrison Place at 3 am when the punk pulled his laptop bag off his shoulder and ran.
The victim chased the ne’er-do-well and tried to grab the device back, but the guy punched him in the mouth and scrammed, a report states.
