Drag and grab
Two brutes beat a man and threatened to blow off his head at the intersection of Avenue T and W. Fourth Street on March 23.
The man told police that the pair dragged him out of his car just after midnight and demanded he cough up some cash. When the man refused, one of the ruffians threatened to “blow his face off,” though no gun was visible, according to a police report.
The second crook socked the man in the face and managed to grab $170 from his pockets before running off, authorities said.
Revenge
A vengeful rouge broke into his ex-wife’s 72nd Street apartment and stole his children’s passports on March 22.
The woman told police that when she returned home at 8 am she discovered $3,000, birth certificates, and passports missing. Later that day she received a phone call from her ex-husband who stated, “I have the children’s passports.”
Police searched for the jilted ex but haven’t been able to find him, authorities said.
Time to run
A pair of brutes mugged a woman on 62nd Street on March 27 after asking for the time.
The woman told police she was walking home from the New Utrecht Avenue train station when a man approached her and asked, “You got the time?” When the woman pulled out her cellphone the punk tried to grab it, but the woman pulled away.
Then a second ruffian ran from across the street and the cads began punching the woman in the head and body, stealing her phone and running off, according to a police report.
Car heist
A bandit smashed his way into a man’s car at the intersection of 16th Avenue and 84th Street on March 27.
The man told police when he returned to his car at 4 pm he noticed the front passenger-side window had been shattered. The intruder made off with a MacBook and a Gucci bag, according to a police report.
