Thanks for nothing

A woman lent a pair of jerks her cellphone and they repaid her by stealing it then beating her up in an attack on Sands Street on Nov. 5.

The victim was near Pearl Street at 7:05 pm when the two wretches asked to use her phone, but when she handed it over, the louts fled with her cell in hand, police said.

She ran after the thieves and one of the rogues punched her in the face while the other pulled her hair, officers reported. The lady kept chasing the nogoodniks but she eventually lost them, authorities said.

A sneak stole pricey jewelry and a passport from a Bergen Street residence on Nov. 1.

The victim told cops he left his apartment near Boerum Place by 9 am and returned at 4:30 pm to find a thief had taken his Rolex watch, four other watches, three pairs of cufflinks, the passport, and a Social Security card.

Soul eater

Some reprobate stole a guy’s expensive Jordan sneakers on Bond Street on Nov. 5.

The victim was strolling by Fulton Street at 9:30 am carrying the kicks — which he bought for $160 — when the snake snatched the sneakers from his hand and fled, according to a report.

Bad ride

A filcher stole a woman’s wallet as she was aboard a Downtown-bound A train on Nov. 5.

The woman boarded the locomotive at High Street and someone stood next to her, bumping her several times until she was able to move, police said. When she arrived at Jay Street, she realized her wallet was missing, according to a report.
