Lousy tippers
Two good-for-nothings swiped a tip jar stuffed with $70 from a Kings Highway pizza joint on Dec. 8, according to a police report.
A witness told police the two goons grabbed the jar from the pizzeria between W. Sixth and W. Seventh streets at 6 pm and bolted, but when a good Samaritan stepped in to save the dough, one of the louts punched the man in the face, said authorities.
The baddies fled on foot, officials said.
Hit the sauce
Police arrested a man and a woman for beating a liquor store cashier on Bay 22nd Street and making off with a bottle of Fireball Whiskey on Dec. 9, authorities said.
The victim told police that the pair entered the store between 86th Street and Benson Avenue at 5 pm and punched him in the face and right eye. The duo swiped the bottle of booze on their way out, officials said.
Police conducted a canvas and the victim pointed out the suspects, said police.
Purse snatchers
Police arrested three men who snatched a woman’s purse on Benson Avenue on Dec. 8, according to a police report.
The woman told police that she was walking near Bay 35th Street at 5:30 pm when she noticed there men in dark hoodies following her. When the woman went to cross the street, the men charged her and grabbed her purse off her shoulder, said authorities.
Police on the scene arrested the men, officials said.
