Major league thrill for Brooklynites

Brooklynites were in for a major league thrill last week when NY Met David Wright worked out with the Brooklyn Cyclones at KeySpan Park.

It was the first time the all-star third baseman took to the field since getting hit in the head by a pitch from San Fancisco’s Matt Cain last week, suffering a concussion.

While he waited to come off the disabled list, Wright had batting practice with the Cyclones August 25, and again on August 26, proudly sporting a Cyclones jacket.

KeySpan Park is located at 1904 Surf Ave.
