Road rage attack
A motorist attacked another driver on Feb. 20 during an argument over a parking spot on Avenue U.
The two men were angling for the same space, which was between E. Third and E. Fourth streets, at 1:10 pm when they had words and soon came to blows. The 28-year-old motorist suffered a split lip as a result.
Robbed by bouncer
A bouncer at an Avenue U bar has been accused of beating and then robbing a reveler during a Feb. 12 altercation.
The victim told police that he was inside the BV Club, which is near West Street, at 12:30 am when the bouncer attacked, leaving him with injuries to his ribs, neck and face.
The victim claimed the bouncer rifled through his pockets during the fisticuffs, taking more than $4,900 and a gold chain.
Not so peachy
A 35-year-old was arrested on Feb. 19 after he chucked a can of peaches at an opponent during an argument inside an E. Second Street apartment, striking the man in the head.
The victim suffered a knot to the head following the 2 pm altercation in the home, which is between Quentin Road and Kings Highway.
Graffiti vandal nabbed
A 22-year-old graffiti vandal was arrested on Feb. 19 after he was caught leaving his tag on an Avenue P building.
Cops caught the vandal between E. Third and E. Fourth streets at 1:05 am.
Easy prey
A thief swiped a wallet from a car parked on E. 24th Street on Feb. 17 — and all he had to do was reach inside.
The owner of the car admitted to police that he left his window open while he left his 2010 Dodge Avenger parked between Quentin Road and Avenue R at 2 am. He left the window open for just a few minutes — but it was long enough for the thief to take notice, reach in and make off with his wallet.
Maxxed out
A 37-year-old woman was arrested on Feb. 18 after she was caught swiping more than $150 in lingerie and beauty supplies from the TJ Maxx on E. 15th Street.
Store security guards apprehended the thief as she tried to leave the store, which is between Kings Highway and Avenue P, at 6:30 pm.
Wheeled away
A thief converged on a 2011 Honda parked on Nostrand Avenue on Feb. 18, taking two tires.
The car was sitting parked between Avenue P and Quentin Road when the thief made off with the tires sometime after 10 pm.
Wireless whisk
Thieves raided the Wireless Dot Com store on Avenue U on Feb. 13, taking 25 cellphones valued at more than $6,000.
Workers at the store, which is near E. 28th Street, said that someone cut the locks to the roll down gates at 5:25 am and smashed the front glass window in order to get inside.
Left slashed
Two thugs jumped a 16-year-old on Avenue U on Feb. 11, leaving the teen hospitalized.
The teen said that he and his friend were nearing W. Eighth Street at 7:40 pm when the two thieves approached him with a knife.
