Two-timing crook

A crook robbed two banks along Flatbush Avenue and Newkirk Plaza on May 21, but only made off with cash after the second hold up.

The suspect started his day at the HSBC branch on Flatbush Avenue between Caton Avenue and Linden Boulevard shortly after 9 am, but fled empty-handed, police said.

Still looking for loot, he struck the Sovereign branch on Newkirk Plaza near E. 16th Street at 2:40 pm, this time fleeing with an undisclosed sum of cash, officials reported.
