Man in critical condition after Williamsburg bar brawl

A man is clinging to life after an early-morning fight at a popular Williamsburg bar on Sunday, police said.

Police responded to a call at the Charleston, which is on Bedford Avenue between N. Seventh and N. Eighth streets, at 1:30 am on Sunday and found the 32-year-old man lying unconscious and unresponsive outside the bar, according to a report.

Cops said the man is knocking on death’s door with severe head and brain injuries.

“He is in extremely critical condition,” said Sgt. Lee Jones.

The Charleston was slated to host a whiskey party for the sprawling Northside Festival on Sunday, but following the incident, festival officials moved it to the Gibson, which is further up Bedford Avenue at the corner of N. 11th Street.

One restaurant across the street made reference to the cops swarming the area and police line around the bar on its sandwich board on Sunday afternoon.

“CSI themed brunch is a real thing in NYC,” Korean eatery Soju wrote on its sign.

The manager at the Charleston declined to comment.

Police have made no arrests in the case.
